About DBQ

DBQ Sound & Music Studio Sweden is an audio production company founded in 2023 by Christoffer Jonsson. The name is short for the term "Don't Be Quiet" and aims to cover all bases of sound & music, no matter the occasion. 

Christoffer Jonsson is a young creative mind but has already made a mark in the industry with over 40 released songs and multi-platinum selling music. With several cuts in the fast-paced music industry of Korea and Japan (works include acts such as SEVENTEEN, timelesz, &Team etc.) he is used to working fast, efficiently and professionally as a songwriter, producer and vocalist.

His portfolio include collaborations with several Swedish podcast companies such as Bauer Media and Qast, working as a sound engineer, background music creator and social media content editor for multiple different podcasts. He has also made mix and masters for big songs and big international stages, including national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest in 3 countries. 

Being a trained piano player and vocalist with a background in jazz, soul, pop & funk, Christoffer grew up playing in different cover bands playing and listening to music from Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin and Amy Winehouse to name a few. When creating music, there's a always a touch of funky rhythms and soul-filled melodies, often disguised into a pop package.

In 2021, Christoffer got accepted to Dreamhill Music Academy, and later also Musikmakarna: two of the best songwriting and music creation schools in Sweden with the concept being one of a kind in the world. The school included everything from collaborations with sync agencies, to creating commercials, voiceovers, game music, as well as writing for big artists on both a national and international level. After his graduation in 2024, Christoffer has been working non-stop with refining his creative vision and developing his skills.
